This is a support group for nursing moms, moms who have nursed and moms who plan to nurse. We accept any age nursling and encourage all backgrounds and lifestyles. This group is here to provide support, information, experience, encouragement and a place to be heard and accepted. We are the sisterhood.

We are merging this meetup group with the Bay Area Attached Families meetup group to improve how we manage the group's events and bring you much more predictability in terms of group activities.  This group will be shut down soon and no new members are being added. Meet other parents from all around the Bay who value respecting a child's need for secure attachment. Whether supporters of Breastfeeding, Child-Led Weaning, Cloth diapering, Homeschooling, Babywearing, or Co-sleeping, all are welcome here. Most of our events take place in the East Bay, however we will work to accomodate people in different locations if someone spearheads an event.
